I love photography. And I love cars and motorsports. And I had to pick a major in college, so I decided on journalism, since I also love that. Add it all up and you’ve got what I’ve been keeping busy with for the past four years: commercial and editorial automotive photography and copywriting.
Before deciding to venture out on my own in this endeavor, I worked as a social media manager and content producer for Mazda USA (working within agency-of-record Garage Team Mazda). Prior to that I served as a technical editor and associate editor for Source Interlink Media (nigh TEN – The Enthusiast Network), working on automotive print titles like Import Tuner, Super Street and Modified magazines.
My clients today include teams from both alma maters, as well as other OEMs; advertising and creative agencies; editorial titles both print and digital-format; auto racing teams and drivers; and lots of other talented, driven, formidable professionals I’m honored to consider colleagues.
Whether shooting alongside a rain-soaked racetrack in the middle of a 24-hour endurance race, with agency and creative crews on commercial productions, at home in my studio, or at my desk, my comfort zone is behind the lens. Or a color-calibrated reference monitor.
